NASTY SAVAGE To Issue Collection Of Early Demos, New Tracks
December 23, 2002Reunited Florida metallers NASTY SAVAGE will issue a six-song EP containing early demo tracks and newly-recorded compositions on Feb. 18, 2003 through Crook'd Records.
"Wage Of Mayhem" will contain the four tracks from the group's 1983 demo of the same name, plus two brand new tracks, recorded in 2002.
Two of the four original demos — "Witches Sabbath" and "Savage Desire" — have never been released before, while "XXX" and "Unchained Angel" are much different than the re-recorded versions.
The two new songs — "Sardonic Mosaic" and "Wage of Mayhem" — were laid down by the lineup that recorded the group's final full-length release, 1989's "Penetration Point" — "Nasty" Ronnie Galetti (vocals),Ben Meyer (guitar),David Austin (guitar),Richard Bateman (bass),and Curtis Beeson (drums) — at Tampa's Red Room studios with engineer Mark Praeter.
NASTY SAVAGE are currently writing material for a new full-length album, due in late 2003.
